Internationally acclaimed actor and director Fanny Ardant, who has appeared in more than 50 films and is the winner of a César award for best actress, joined the Council of Europe’s Dosta! programme in April 2010 to improve the situation of the Roma population in Europe. She produced a 6 minute film criticising intolerance against, and school exclusion of, Romani children. Her commitment marks a milestone for the programme.
