This spot, made by students at Lisbon's Lusofona University in support of the Living Together campaign, illustrates the importance of having pupils from different ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds in the same class.

In May 2011 the Council of Europe submitted its report on the future of multiculturalism in Europe. Drafted by a group of Wise Persons, the Living Together report proposes seventeen ideas for Europe to use in response to the rise of intolerance and political extremism in Europe.
